Sheepie?

Weaning Jacob

Mother’s weaning Jacob
And he has an awful fit,
‘Cause he cannot have his bottle
When he’s got so used to it.
He sticks his nose up in the air
And sniffs around just so,
A’ thinking fiercely to himself,
“Where did that bottle go?”
Mother’s weaning Jacob
And he will not drink his milk,
Tho’ it’s d’luted and it’s warmed,
And it’s just as soft as silk;
He keeps looking for his bottle,
Will not drink it from his pan.
Mother has to push his head in,
“Take it, Sheepie, like a man.”
